As many of you have heard, Shawn suffered a cardiac attack that nearly took his life.

He is ok for now but has to wear a battery pack in case of an emergency.   To fix this condition, Shawn will need to undergo surgery and retire from racing.   We all want the best for Shawn and the team will dearly miss his energy and laughter.

Shawn is a lovable character who embodies the word teammate.  He’s always there to lend a helping hand, both on and off the  bike.  He has been a foundational force for Team Mike’s Bikes.
