It looks like VeloNews has decided to show the fifth best stage (of five) of The Tour of Gila live online. All hating on crits aside, this is very cool as it looks like the site is going to show most, if not all, of the amateur races.
As for my plan, I get excited about crits after I win one and that hasn’t happened in a few years now. It will be interesting to see how it plays out given the crit comes on Saturday April 30, three very hilly days into the race, and the day prior to the queen stage featuring the infamous Gila Monster.
